01
Service focus
Within a petroleum tank-terminal project,Pumps, metering and transfer systems is a critical facility system performing a defined storage, transfer, measurement, control or protection duty. Its design must balance process performance, hazardous-area compliance, reliability, maintainability and life-cycle cost. Simei Energy starts from product data and operating scenarios to establish system capacity, equipment architecture, control boundaries and multidisciplinary interfaces.
02
Engineering delivery
Normal, peak, maintenance and abnormal cases are checked so capacity and safeguards are not based on one ideal operating condition. Engineering covers design cases, sizing or hydraulics, materials and equipment selection, data sheets, specifications, arrangement and interface checks, manufacturing inspection, installation quality and functional testing. Failure modes, standby philosophy, alarms, interlocks, isolation, disposal and access are reviewed. Power, grounding, area classification, signals and control logic are coordinated, and validation proceeds from individual equipment through subsystem to integrated operation.
03
Deliverables and project value
The owner receives traceable equipment records, inspection and test evidence, as-built information, operating requirements and recommended spares. Structured design and verification reduce leakage, operating error, measurement deviation and unplanned shutdown. Standard interfaces also support local replacement, digital upgrades and expansion, keeping the system safe, stable and maintainable throughout the asset life. Pumps, metering and transfer systems is documented as a dedicated basis for the following project stages.
