Service focus
For our LPG facility projects in Africa, the construction, pressure testing and operator training work package is a core project service that directly influences safety boundaries, capital cost and long-term operating performance. Simei Energy defines the design basis, discipline interfaces and required engineering depth from local regulation, site conditions, product properties, target capacity and the owner’s operating model. Early work identifies constraints affecting permits, equipment selection, construction and future expansion, while alternative evaluation prevents late changes to critical parameters.

Engineering delivery
Inspection points, test steps and handover records define objective completion criteria before the facility enters service. Delivery is based on verifiable data and clear responsibility. Typical activities include information gathering, site verification, calculations, concept development, technical specifications, supplier coordination, construction inspection and staged testing. Assumptions are recorded and multidisciplinary reviews align plot plan, process, civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, fire and safety requirements so that documents, procured equipment and field installation remain consistent.

Deliverables and project value
Outputs may include design criteria, calculations, layouts, process descriptions, equipment data sheets, inspection plans, test records and operating recommendations. This package supports permits, investment control, procurement, acceptance and maintenance. Resolving the right technical issues at the right stage reduces rework, schedule delay and start-up risk while preserving sensible provisions for higher capacity, equipment upgrades and local operator handover. Construction, pressure testing and operator training is documented as a dedicated basis for the following project stages.
