LPG pumps and compressors provide liquid transfer, loading, unloading and vapour recovery, but they operate close to the product's vapour-pressure limits. Equipment selection must reflect LPG composition, temperature, suction conditions, required flow, differential pressure and whether the duty involves liquid or vapour. Seal arrangement, minimum-flow protection and hazardous-area compliance are treated as part of the system design.

Engineering delivery
Hydraulic and process calculations check NPSH margin, cavitation risk, line pressure, compressor suction and discharge conditions, recirculation and relief of trapped liquid. Duty and standby philosophy, strainers, separators, non-return valves, vibration monitoring and emergency isolation are coordinated with control logic. Mechanical run tests, leak tests, vibration readings, performance checks and integrated transfer trials confirm stable operation across the required range.

Deliverables and project value
The owner receives process calculations, equipment data sheets, piping arrangements, control narratives, operating envelopes and commissioning records. Correctly selected machines reduce cavitation, seal leakage, overheating and slow tanker transfer. Accessible isolation and standardized spares also improve maintenance response and long-term availability.
