01

Service focus

Pumps, metering and transfer systems move product between receipt, storage and dispatch while preserving quantity, quality and operational flexibility. The design basis considers every transfer route, product viscosity and density, required flow, elevation, pipe friction, simultaneous operation and custody-transfer obligation. Pump and meter technologies are selected for the actual duty rather than from nominal line size alone.

02

Engineering delivery

Hydraulic models establish pump differential head, NPSH margin, control-valve duty and line pressure for normal, recirculation and blocked-flow cases. Engineering coordinates duty and standby philosophy, strainers, filters, relief paths, isolation, sampling, meter runs, proving connections and instrumentation. Alignment, rotation, vibration, pressure, flow and meter accuracy are tested in stages, followed by integrated route selection and interlock verification through the terminal control system.

03

Deliverables and project value

The owner receives hydraulic calculations, pump and meter data sheets, line lists, control narratives, proving requirements and commissioning records. Correctly matched equipment reduces cavitation, energy waste, measurement disputes and transfer delays. Clearly defined routes and isolation also simplify maintenance, product changeover and future connection to additional tanks, loading bays or pipelines.
