What is included in an oil terminal tank package?
This service coordinates the complete storage package around the terminal operating duty. It does not duplicate the separate engineering topic for an individual API 650 tank.
Tank package engineering
Define applicable design codes, tank type and roof, materials, corrosion allowance, design conditions, nozzles, manways, stairs, platforms, foundations and civil load interfaces.
Accessories and safeguards
Coordinate vents, flame arresters where required, level and temperature instruments, independent overfill protection, sampling, water draw-off, earthing, lightning interfaces and fire-system connections.
Connected terminal equipment
Align tank nozzles and duties with manifolds, piping, pumps, valves, filtration, metering, tank gauging, drainage, oily-water collection and control-system interfaces.
Procurement and document control
Manage approved vendor lists, technical bid review, drawings, calculations, data sheets, material certificates, inspection plans, manufacturing records and final documentation.
Export and site interfaces

Package definition and owner inputs
The package begins with the approved site plan, products and properties, tank schedule or capacity basis, operating and design conditions, code edition, geotechnical data, utilities, hazardous-area information, receipt and dispatch duties, local regulations, inspection requirements and battery limits. Unconfirmed quantities and duties remain provisional until the owner approves the design basis.

Engineering and procurement documents
Depending on the contract, deliverables may include tank schedules, technical specifications, data sheets, nozzle and accessory schedules, general arrangements, foundation loads, interface lists, instrument requirements, preliminary or final material take-offs, vendor-document registers and inspection plans. Final bills of materials follow approved detailed engineering rather than early assumptions.

Supply, quality and delivery coordination
Simei Energy can coordinate fabricated tank materials, roofs and structural parts, nozzles, manways, stairs and platforms, vents, gauging and overfill items, valves, connected piping components and agreed auxiliary equipment. Material traceability, welding and examination records, hold points, preservation, packing and shipment are controlled against the approved scope.

Construction and EPC integration
Supply can be delivered as an equipment package or integrated with site erection, civil and piping interfaces, testing, commissioning and complete EPC under an agreed contract. No. A terminal package coordinates several tanks and their accessories with products, capacity, piping, instrumentation, safeguards, procurement, logistics and EPC interfaces. The API 650 page explains the detailed engineering and delivery of an individual atmospheric storage tank.
Which standards apply to the storage tanks?
The applicable standard and edition are agreed from the product, tank type, owner requirements and local regulations. API 650 may apply to welded atmospheric oil-storage tanks, together with approved fire, venting, electrical, civil and environmental requirements.
Can gauging, overfill and tank accessories be supplied?
Yes. The agreed package may include tank gauging, independent high-level protection, temperature measurement, vents, access steelwork, earthing interfaces, valves and other approved accessories.
When is the final bill of materials available?
The final bill of materials is produced from approved detailed drawings, calculations, data sheets and vendor documents. Early feasibility or Pre-FEED quantities are planning estimates and should not be used as final procurement quantities.
Can Simei Energy continue from supply into construction and EPC?
Yes. Subject to the contract and confirmed site inputs, Simei Energy can coordinate detailed design, equipment supply, erection, construction interfaces, inspection, testing, commissioning and complete EPC delivery.
Does Simei Energy finance tank farm equipment packages?
No. Simei Energy provides technical services, equipment supply and engineering or EPC delivery. We do not provide investment, financing, EPC+F, BOOT, lease-to-own or deferred-payment funding.
